Floodlighting Petition Response
I just received an email from the UK government's ePetition system to say that there has been a response to the floodlighting petition that I mentioned back in November 2006 (wow, really that long ago?).

So, that's a "no" then, is it?
It's not really surprising that they wouldn't go for an all-out ban but it is a pity they were not a bit more positive about the general idea.
You'd also hope they'd at least get somebody who knows the difference between "its" and "it's" to check the response.
I too had the rather pathetic non entity of a reply to the petition. Still, onwards and upwards as they say.
