Some people have all the fun
Typical! We get the first really large sunspot for quite some time and what happens here? Cloud, rain, cloud, rain, more cloud, some more cloud and even more cloud.
The forecast for today seems to be wall-to-wall cloud.
At least Ian and Peter seem to be having some fun.

Just had my first view of the new sunspot group today at around 19.00
I managed to get lucky earlier on this evening when there was a brief break in the clouds — managed to see the biggest spot using the naked eye and a solar filter.
